新电视
周末去中关村国美买了个电视，这是我来北京后，购得属于自己的第二个电视，第一个是06年在女人街旧货市场买的，15寸，那个小电视陪我们度过了北京的最初时光，现在那个小电视也非常清晰，记得当时买也有大的，价格一样，可是当时我们租住的房间很小，只有10平，而且把它抱回来也是问题，所以选择了它。

2ndly, thanks for your advice on my Beijing visit at Wangjianshuo's blog. i am glad I have a Beijinger to advice me. Yes, It's my first time to Beijing, and I am not from China. I am a foreigner. So I need to know alot about Beijing. Beside the tradinal places of interest, I also need to know good places for street food, Night Market and tradional street where local goes to. Most probably I will be staying around Tian Nan Men area. Hope to hear from you soon.
@kbguy (福生)Besides the traditional places such as Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace and others, if you want to know good places for street food, Night Market and traditional street where local goes to, I think SHI CHA HAI is the best choice. At there, you can enjoy some Beijing Snacks in JIU MEN Snack (JIU MEN means nine gates^^), HU GUO SI Snack Shop or other places. Among Beijing food, Noodles with Bean Paste and Beijing Roast Duck are also good choices. SHI CHA HAI, Composed of three man-made lakes, QIAN HAI ("Front Sea" Lake), HOU HAI ("Rear Sea" Lake) and the lesser-known XI HAI ("West Sea" Lake) once formed part of a system of waterways that fed into the Imperial Capital, is at the north of TIAN AN MEN, not far, about 5km. I always go HOU HAI, there are many Bars, at night, there are some band performances, and there are many HU TONG (means alleyway) and quadrangle dwellings, you can see many locals do some custom sports.
Beijing Taxi's price is RMB 2 Yuan/km, Subway tickets price is RMB 2 Yuan, you can transfer every lines (except Airport Express, Airport Express is RMB 20 Yuan) as you want, no additional cost. Most bus in Beijing price is RMB 1 Yuan. If you want to view the Bird's Nest, 2008 Olympic Games main stadium, you can go Olympics Green by Subway Line 8. Enter Olympics Green is free, enter Bird's Nest or Water Cube, you should buy a ticket, RMB 50 Yuan.
BTW, I think every foreigner come Beijing will go to Great Wall, I think you should use one day of your five to visit there, I once went there by No. 919 bus from DE SHENG MEN, is far from TIAN AN MEN, in northwest of Beijing, I think go there from TIAN AN MEN, will waste at least 2 hours.
